Dr. Javier I. Borráz-León obtained his BSc degree in Human Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Then obtained his MSc degree in Experimental Biology from the School of Medicine of same University and his PhD in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology from the National Institute of Psychiatry “Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz” also Mexico.
Dr. Borráz-León has worked on several projects mainly related to the interaction between steroid hormones and ecological variables that modulate processes of intrasexual competition, sexual selection, personality traits, and mental health in human beings. He has published 12 scientific articles through the peer review process in international indexed journals and one book chapter.
Currently, Dr. Borráz-León is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Turku in Finland within the research group led by Dr. Markus J. Rantala
